DillyDone — Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the DillyDone apps for iPhone and Android (the “App”), published by HMB Software LLC (“HMB Software,” “we”). Using the App means you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
1. The product
DillyDone is a personal time clock. It records shifts, breaks, meetings, clients and work items on your device, adds up the totals, and can export a timesheet as a PDF or CSV file. It has no accounts and no server component, and it works without an internet connection except where advertising, purchases or the settings check need one.
2. Your records are yours, and they are your responsibility
Everything the App records is stored only on your device. We hold no copy and cannot restore anything for you. If your device is lost, reset, or the App is uninstalled, that data is gone. Use the export and backup features to keep copies of anything you would not want to lose.
3. Not a system of record for payroll or billing
DillyDone helps you keep track of your own hours. It is a personal tool, not an employer’s system of record, not a payroll product, and not accounting or legal advice. Totals, rounding and estimated billable values are conveniences calculated from what you entered. You are responsible for checking that what you submit to an employer, a client or a tax authority is correct. If your employer requires a particular timekeeping system, use theirs.
4. DillyDone Pro
DillyDone Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase, not a subscription. It is sold and fulfilled by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their own terms, and restored under their own account rules — each store restores only its own purchase. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, not by us. Prices are set and displayed by the store for your region. We may change what a future version includes, but we will not remove features from a copy of the App you have already bought without saying so.
5. Advertising
The free version shows advertising supplied by Google. Ads are never placed in front of clocking in or out, starting or ending a break or meeting, saving your work, or recovering an interrupted shift. We do not control which specific ads are served. Buying DillyDone Pro removes advertising.
6. Acceptable use
Do not decompile, resell, or redistribute the App, and do not use it to break the law or anyone’s rights. The App and its name, design and content remain the property of HMB Software LLC.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a calculation will suit any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HMB Software LLC is not liable for lost records, lost income, disputed hours, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the App.
8. Changes
If we update these terms we will change the date above. The current version lives at https://www.hmb-software.com/dillydone/terms.
