Bedside — Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Bedside mobile applications published by HMB Software LLC. Privacy is described separately in the Privacy Policy.
1. The product
Bedside lets two phones on the same Wi‑Fi act as a room monitor and a listener. It is free. There is no account and no in‑app purchase in version 1.0.
2. Your responsibilities
You must only monitor a space you are allowed to monitor. Do not use Bedside to listen to or watch people who have not agreed to it. You are responsible for the Wi‑Fi you use, for keeping the room phone plugged in, and for who can see the 6‑digit code.
3. Not a medical or life‑safety device
Bedside is not a medical device. It is not certified for infant safety, sleep apnea, SIDS prevention, or emergency paging. Audio and video can stop if a phone sleeps, the app is killed, Wi‑Fi drops, or the battery dies. Do not rely on it as the only way to know someone is safe.
4. Local network only
The App is designed for the same local network. It does not provide remote access over the internet. If your router isolates clients (some guest networks), the phones will not find each other.
5. Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is.” To the extent allowed by law, HMB Software LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted operation. We are not liable for lost audio, missed alerts, or decisions you make based on the App.
6. Changes
We may update the App and these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
